WCCC-AM
EEO Report for the period 12/1/2006 - 11/30/2007

For the period 12/1/2006 – 11/30/2007 WCCC-AM hired no new full time employees.

During the period, WCCC-AM maintained its three-prong outreach program.

Prong 1  -  Since this part of the overall initiative pertains to specific job openings and WCCC-AM did not have any, this prong does not apply for the period referenced above.

Prong 2  -  WCCC-AM continued to solicit organizations to join our list of organizations that would receive job postings.

Prong 3 – In order to further broaden our outreach efforts to reach segments of the labor force who may be inadvertently omitted from our vacancy-specifiic recruitment, WCCC-AM created, maintained or participated in the following programs.

Internship Program – WCCC-AM has internship programs in all four departments – Engineering, Programming, General Office and Sales.  For the period  of 12/1/2006 – 11/30/2007, WTMI “employed” 2 interns in the programming department.

Mentoring Program – Three junior members of the WTMI sales staff participated in our mentoring program during the period.  Mark Savage, Bill Grimmeisen and Aileen Charland were mentored by Gordon Weingarth.  The purpose of the program is to prepare the junior members for senior sales and management positions.

Job Fairs – WCCC co-sponsored a career fair on April 4, 2007 at the North Haven Holiday Inn.  WCCC-FM attended a broadcasting Career Fair put on by the Connecticut Broadcasters Association on May 21, 2007.  WCCC-FM also co-sponsored a Diversity Career Fair at the North Haven Holiday in on June 12, 2007   We also participated in a Job Shadow day on October 19th.  Kyle Charles, a student at Eastern Connecticut State University, spent the day at WCCC and Beethoven Radio learning about broadcasting.
