Of course it means something. It's a combination of my wife's and my last names.

But I think the last time I mentioned that was a couple of years ago, so even Piq might not have known.

No, that's the board inhabitants at the Baen publishing site. It's the Baen Bar, and those who hang out there are, of course, barflys. I'm not sure Haggis doesn't occasionally check in, too, and if not why not; there's an entire forum concerning the 1632 alternate-history series. He's as enchanted with it as I am.

or even better... SWEET lion-ess potatoes!!!
actually this is really good and easy to make so i AM going to share the recipe:

3 strips bacon
3/4 c. chopped onion
1&1/2 lb. sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled & diced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 to 2 tsp. sugar

cut bacon into 1/2" pieces (scissors work the best). saute bacon w/ onion until done (about 5 min). add potatoes & seasoning. cook uncovered over medium heat until potatoes have a golden crispy crust on underside.

That sounds goooooood!

I like this recipe too:
coooked mashed yams or sweetpotatoes
butter
brown sugar
pecans.

Mix to taste.
Traditionally served as a side dish but I like it for breakfast adn am considering putting it in a pie shell and serving it for dessert.

Cheese grits - off to make some now!
Altoid - curiously strong.

Add a couple of eggs and some cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and allspice - and you have reinvented sweet potato pie. I suppose you could decorate the top of the pie with the pecans.

OT,
I think they should have a "Section Leader" for 5K and Conductor for 10K.

If it makes you feel any better, I'll become a post-aholic and try and catch up to you.

Probably take about a year.
