Hi Hal,

Once again, thank you for your hard work in presenting these puzzles, and especially for your cleverness.

OK, I give up. I'm a cheerful idiot. Even with the explanation, that Opus X was, um, abstruse. Utterly non-obvious. Sneaky, even.

Congratulations, you have stumped me. Entirely. I was nowhere close. <mumph>

Selma, you comfort me!
I thought I was the only utterly clueless one, and was ashamed to admit it. :D

Not at all, DavidS. I didn't even recognise Jack Nicholson.

I thought the superimposition of Opus X was a lovely piece of misdirection.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, Jack played a character named Jack in that movie.

(Note - I had to pm OT - "I know that face. Its that actor guy. Damn, proper nouns..... Um, he played in Witches of Eastwick, and that other movie, with the waitress.......".Thank goodness OT has a good memory for faces and proper nouns!)
Altoid - curiously strong.

Look at profile photo. Remember how happy we all were together? Not like that now. Can't get Boy to clean his branch or do his homework.
