I wish I could take credit. I only had a peace or two of the puzzle. But, I have a great collaborator here at work that put it together. Even so, we still had a couple of the clues slightly wrong especially the middle picture. :(

No worries, Nate. It just goes to show that one can still correctly identify Opus X even if they don't quite have all the individual clues correct. You still got the same overall result. :D

I had to dig deep and also mine OT's knowledge, to make sense of it.

I really enjoy these puzzles and the other music discussion topics in the BB. I thought I knew quite abit about classical music & composers, but compared with all of you, I don't know jack. I only come here for the knowledge (and, of course the creative repartee :D ).

Hi Tim,

Were you able to figure out the middle photo before you solved the whole thing?

Or not...

Sortof. There were a number of words that came to mind...the REAL word being one of them. But only one fit.

The shape of that picture reminded me of the pink hat worn by that one kid on the "Cosby Kids" cartoon...the kid that has the hat pulled down over his whole face. But the color wasn't right, so I couldn't use that info.

Have a good day, pal(oma).
Regards,
Tim B.

That's a lot better than what came to mind when I first looked at it.

Oh man, I had an idea, and was just able to google the image Hal used. Would it be too much of a giveaway to call it by its proper name?

According to W.S. Gilbert, it's "put in your oar." :p

It's easy: Click on "images" on the Google main page, and type in the keyword(s) for what you're looking f[b]or]/b].

With a nod to Tim...

PS. What the heck kind of middle name is "Schwenk", anyway?!

I didn't realize how addicting these puzzles could be. Last night as I was trying to fall asleep, instead of having a some peaceful symphony or opus going through my head, all I could see were 3 pictures staring me in the face demanding they be deciphered. :)

Hee hee hee! That is what gives me the most entertainment out of doing these puzzles. I know that there are people out there completely submerged in them. I think it was treebeau who told me he had the pictures in his head trying to decipher them while driving home. And I know OT had last months puzzle memorized before he had solved it.

Now I do not intend to make anybody lose any sleep over them, but I still get a chuckle when they do. :D

I'm glad all the entertainment is mutual: we have fun trying to make out the puzzles, and you get to laugh as we make faces trying to make out the puzzles . . . :D

Jane,

You leave me and Boy and Cheetah in jungle all this time. We want you come home - we all tired of eating nothing but bananas - except Cheetah, that is.

Look at profile photo. Remember how happy we all were together? Not like that now. Can't get Boy to clean his branch or do his homework.

Yours,

Tarzan
