Awesome Vivaldi CD!

Postby Avivaldi72 » Fri Dec 02, 2005 1:11 am

I sampled this Vivaldi CD - I was looking for his Concerto in B- Minor, Opus 3, No. 10 - It is one of my favorites. Fabio Biondi's Europa Galante is a fantastic ensemble!

If you like Vivaldi, you must sample this CD!

Thanks, AV72.

I'm having a Vivaldi moment on Dec. 11th, when I'll be performing the Gloria, ringing for my voice teacher's church choir. I really enjoy that piece.

Awesome, OT!

I just adore Vivaldi. He is absolutely my all-time favorite.

I ordered another CD collection from the Europa Galante ensemble. I even had it shipped express - I have such little patience! Our only alternative for purchasing music here is Wal-HELL-Mart and the 3" of space that is delegated to Classical is quite lacking, to say the least. Although they seem to find plenty of room for the 'my darlin' done left me, twang, twang' genre.

Perhaps your nickname/screenname/handle gives that away. I once told a friend how I love his Harpsichord music. Her response was, "well, that was his forte". Let us be glad that the Red Priest's sermons were so bad that he had to go back to writting music.

I love Vivaldi too. Particularly that one concerto that he wrote 400+ times. :D

Me too, though in his day plagiarism was more acceptable and there seems to have been some interaction between him and J.S. Bach?
