Help with music analysis

Postby violinist4ever » Thu Mar 09, 2006 6:14 pm

Hey, Everyone, sorry I've been mia for a few weeks. I'm having a really hard time this semester in my music analysis class. I could really use some help! I've tried talking to my teacher, but he isn't much help. You guys were a big help to me last semester that I thought I'd ask you guys again....I was wondering if anyone is good at analysing music and could help me with this piece. If I tell you my answers, do you think you could tell me if they are correct? thanks :)

Sorry, couldn't help it....

I'll have to dust off that area of my brain, but if I can be of any help, count me in.

Ok, I think I finally got it. This is from the book Music by the Masters. It's Bach's Prelude no. 1. Measures 5-22. Am7,D,G,C,C,Dmaj,G,C,D,B half dim 7, C,Am,C,G,C,C dim, Am, C. I don't know if you can tell if I'm right by that or not....
