Beethoven is spinning in his grave

...and hes spinning cause I just practiced his piece for horn and piano, and boy, did it sound like someone was killing something!

Thank you Peter...geez, there is a lot of cool information floating around here...was he the same Punto as the composer?

To me, even the very opening horn phrase sounds tricky! Bear in mind that Punto was a virtuoso - it`s not meant to be easy to play!

Peter, what will end up happening is I wont be able to play the last, oh, eight bars from the first movement (8 min). However, its the quality of the rest of the piece that counts. All of the high passages are difficult, and the slurs from low notes to high notes are nearly impossible. Punto is not the composers real name...its Johann W. Stich.
