Ashes to Ashes

Postby John » Fri Mar 09, 2001 9:04 am

Regarding the latest news, "The remains of Anna Pavlova, star of St Petersburg’s Mariinsky Theatre (pictured) during the early years of the 20th century, have apparently been booked on a flight to Moscow next week."
OK, here is what I want to know. Was her ashes booked in first class or coach? Window or aisle seat? Perhaps they simply used the ash tray (sorry, couldn't resist). How many frequent miles did she urn?
John

John,
Quite humorous. Sure to start off a round of puns from those European guys.
Regards,
Tim B.
P.S. I'm a computer programmer in the airline industry. A while back there was an initiative to enroll funeral homes in a frequent flyer points program for shipping bodies. All the people who worked on the code secretly called it "frequent dier" instead of "Frequent Flyer." Funeral homes were dying to sign up for this program.

Boy oh boy are you guys gonna be in trouble when Nicole finds out what you boys have been doing in her room.
Say, you know, if they used the ashtray on someone's seat, would that be double-booking? Yeah, they must use the baggage vault. I can just see it now: a baggage car funeral procession. I wonder who gets the pleasure of loading that stuff up? Sounds like a delightful undertaking.
