Speaking of little bands. I direct(?) a small band at my church. We replace the organist/pianist one Sunday a month and play the prelude, hymns and such. I transcribe the parts for the various instruments and we only rehearse on the Sunday we play. If you want excitement try directing a group when you're never really sure who or what's going to show up to play and then try and balance 4 trumpets, two flutes, an oboe, a clarinet, a couple of french horns, a tenor sax, a baritone sax and one viola. I could sure use a tuba.<P>I'd like to see what Stravinsky could do with that group.<P>Jack
