20 Questions game

Postby bignaf » Wed May 24, 2006 9:49 pm

How about we start a 20 questions game?
someone thinks of a musical piece and everyone chips in with 20 yes/no questions to figure out the answer. anyone can guess the answer atr any point. one try per person. the winner starts the next thread.
How about I start one. bring on the questions. (I promise to check this thread several times a day).

Is it written for an Orchestra? (closest I could come to "is it b*gger than a breadbox?")

What a great way to bring up one's post count. Wonder why OT didn't think of it. ;)

Is it by a female composer? (i.e. "How 'bout that Clara Schumann?")

Before I pose my question, I am holding my horses to see the replies to the first 6. :) (This is not to be considered as a question. )
That was how "Animal, Vegetable, and Mineral" as well as "What's My Line?" were usually played.

As an aside, how many of us still have a breadbox?

Anxiously waiting for bignaf to visit and answer. That first half-dozen questions should narrow the field some.

Does it involve a motorcycle, a house without an attic, or iceplant?

Does it involve sitting on such a high post count no one will ever catch up with me?

That does it. On the way home, I'm stopping at LnT and checking for breadboxes. Or maybe I should stop at Walmart, check for the Zurichian Gnomes special tesserectized breadbox.

Boy, I sure wish Bignaf'd show up and answer the first six so that we could go back to (semi)educated guesses.... ;)

not 19th century. (I just don't want subjective definitions...)

I'll assume Barfle and OT's questions are humorous...for some reason Beethoven.com wouldn't open at work. maybe the admin put it on the restricted list...

bignaf,

I couldn't open it a work, either, but from the number of posts apparenlty others had no difficulty. I don't believe it was a firewall issue, since I was able to get to most other sites with no difficutly.

Anyhow, Was the composer Austrian?

Actually, both my and OT's questions could be construed as having a part for a tenor.
