you need to be active to show. active means clicking on things... because the only way the board can know you're active is when you send a download request to it. if it would know more it would be too invasive.

5 min. I don't think I'll organize another of these. too much bother for too many people. but I bet if we started the "last one to post" thing again we would break a record... 8)

On the board I administer we will frequently get 30 or more bots crawling the forum at one time. We will block the IP addresses as we find them.

Mondays are always the "Jeeez, need to get cracking on the things I didn't get done last week" day for me.. An' there's never any shortage of such items. :D

BTW, I wonder if there's any correlation between bot assaults and the BBB being slow...
If only I could fly on my own wings.
