Very strange. At the bottom of the Index page it says:

In total there are 13 users online :: 2 Registered, 0 Hidden and 11 Guests

Eleven guests, me and navneeth. I noticed that there were a large number of guests yesterday, too. Just seems a lot different than what I've been seeing.

Probably a combination of BOTs and inactive actual BBB members, who've been logged out but are still actually on the BBB site.

Me noticing that, too. A sudden surge of bots, most probably.

I occasionally click on the 'latest member' listing to see who they are. Most just have a name and a website listed, no other identifying info. The websites, too, are suspect - places like "singles_online.com", "Refinance_now.com" etc.

That's not to say that all the guests are bots. Some of the newbies have locations, interests, etc. filled in. Their probably browsing the site (as I did), deciding whether or not to jump in. Perhaps a topic will interest them enough to weigh in on eventually.

That being said, there does seem to be a decided drop in the number of regulars posting lately. I'm going to be optimistic and say that it's summer vacations and parental duties that are keeping them off the board. I certainly hope they'll find their way back soon.

I think it would liven up a lot if Shos would revive his old quizzes.

New record - 47 members online earlier today. Many of them I'm sure were :borg:
