9. no.
(Mahler's Bohemian, but you're right to ask, since he was part of the Austrian empire, and lived in vienna a while).

How about Bruckner?

Does the symphony have a title attached to it?

Disregard that last question bignaf. I just realized that all of Bruckner's symphonies are titled (whether or official or not).

I'm just going to go out on a limb and guess that it's Bruckner's 4th symphony, Romantic.

Contains one of my favorite slow movements of any symphony. I just love 2nd movement!

I'll go out on another limb and guess it's his Symphony 0 since they play it frequently here and *ig mentioned he doesn't really like it (overplayed?).

no.
the 4th has the most good moments of any of his symphonies but still rambles.

So now it's down to guessing a number from 0-9 with the exception of 0 and 4. Hmmm...how about 8?

:P nope. at some point I'll start making Bruckner symphony jokes. I can a write a "writing Brockner symphonies for Dummies" book. first step, start ppp with string tremolos. add a tablespoon of slow horn melody...

Yes, I love curling, watching and playing.

Yes, I briefly saw the curling thread. Isn't Scott the big fan?

I'll have to have a thorough look at that thread, and bump it up!

I'm sure there are a large multitude of curling fans on BBB ((hee hee hee!)
