I just got here and all the hard work is done. I'd make a guess, but the responsibility of winning is formidable. Sooooooooooo --------
Did he write it in 1828?

Would it be the trio for piano and strings in Eb (Opus 100)?

Yes, Shap! You are correct! :P Congratulations! Shap, you get to do the next 30Q!

I love this piece by Schubert. The lovely 2nd movement is played during the movie Barry Lyndon, when Lady Lyndon meets Redmond Barry out on the terrace and they embrace for the first time. It is a very poignant moment in the film, and Schubert's music is perfect for that very moment.

It is on the Barry Lyndon soundtrack, which I have and it is awesome!

Tried to copy and paste a table from Word, which included the 8 30Q's played so far with # of questions asked, composer, work title, etc.

But it doesn't paste as a table, it looks dishevelled. :(

Hi Ray. Barry Lyndon introduced me to the 2nd movement of this trio, too. I agree the soundtrack is a great one.
