1. Not after 1827.
2. After 1750.
3. It is Beethoven.
4. Does not involve orchestra.
5. Involves 3 or more instruments.
6. It is a string quartet.

Yes.

Serenity - You already did have 1 guess. However, due to the fact that you, *ig and a few others are the only ones taking part in the 30Q's, I'll make an executive decision and allow it. :)

Note:

String Quartet # 13 Op. 130 is my favorite of Beethoven's "Late" Quartets. The Gross Fugue was the original finale of Op. 130, but was then removed from Op. 130 and released as it's own work, Opus 133. A new finale was then constructed for the Op. 130, which is the final movement that Beethoven wrote.

Serenity correctly guessed String Quartet #13 and now gets to do 30Q #13. And we were just one question away from Q#13 (but I think 13 questions were asked)

Spooky...

Well, not quite, since we don't officially count guesses as questions. :)

In the name of sportmanship and to widen the participation of the game, I would like to bestow the honors of initiating the next Q to navneeth. The game takes some research and work would take away too much time away from my desk to be able to respond to your questions on a timely basis. i don't want the game to stagnate while everyone waits for an answer.

Navneeth, are you game?

I'd love to start a 30Q, but I'm not familiar with pieces which are 30Q worthy. You guys will probably guess the piece even before I start the thread.
If anyone else has something that'll make an interesting 30Q, be my guest. Otherwise, I don't mind beating the record held by 30Q #6.

Keep in mind he may be asleep right now. :D I think India is 10 + hours ahead of Central/Eastern time.

Just a few minutes past 02:30...my usual bed time. :)

I'll try to come up with a 30Q in the next half hour. If not, I'll post something about 7-8 hours later. :)
