Yes, it is certainly musical drivel compared to the mystical adagio we know so well. But I frankly don't like jazz at all. I'd much prefer an improvisation on Moonlight from professional pianists or (if I was alive back then) guys like Liszt, Thalberg, Dreyschock, even Busoni or Hoffman. However, if it's fun for this guy to play that, then I see nothing wrong with it.
