Recap:
  • Pre-1750 composition
  • Birth of composer and composition not from the same century
  • Composer died in the 1700s
  • Not orchestral, is not a concerto, or octet, and does not contain more than four instruments, and is bigger than a breadbox (more than two movements).
  • It features a keyboard instrument
  • Composer is western European but not an Italian. Not Bach or Handel.

trio sonatas usually have 4 instruments. and it probably includes a cello (as part of the continuo).
