Good q's, yet again! :)

24. Did he win a pulitzer prize for this composition?

No

25. did he win the Pulitzer more than once?

Yes

Just that one question to confirm the name of the composer, and you're done.

Naf, I think that's the first time I've seen you submit multiple questions.

27 questions for what is essentially Barber's Adagio! wow! a simple change of medium can wreck havoc.

:D ...that's right.

I haven't heard the Adagio as much as Agnus Dei (which would about 4 times), but it's one of my favourite 20th century works.

Adagio has been used in the movies, as Adagio and not as the choral work(based on a search thru' Wikipedia, IMDB and not a very extensive googling).
Also, I've seen it listed as 'for Chorus and Organ/Piano', and hence the ambiguity in a couple of answers.

film music should only refer to music written specifically for films. otherwise it gets out of hand. Beethoven's 5th is a ballet, and also a film, and also a symphony? no.

That's what Cat asked me.

tricky question Cat, it'll probably mislead you more often than help you.
