I think Sir Stew does as he pleases. :) I muted the player as soon as I saw she was next.

Nicole Marie must be....something. One of the few things she and I agree on is Church..Charlotte, not the one on the corner.

I'd rather to listen to G&S ad nauseum than to listen to that brat.

Do you really think so? I think the OB's have better voices by far.

I'm talking Opera Babes, not Medieval Baebes. The Medieval Baebes aren't too bad.

Yes, I think she's infinitely better than the Opera Babes. At least she tries to remain true to the original style of the pieces she sings.

Yes, I know you meant OperaBabes.

Stylistically, you have a point. Their vocal technique, however, is much better than Charlotte's. Bad vocal technique, especially from a soprano, really grates on me.

Well, being as that's your area of expertise, I'll take your word for it. I didn't think her singing was bad for a twelve year old. I don't know if she still sings.

THe Opera Babes had that nails-on-the-chalkboard effect on me. Not because of the vocals, but because of what they did to such classics as O' Fortuna. It's like Hooked on Classics all over again.

It's funny, the OB's are fairly popular in musician circles around here. I was given my CD by a fellow singer.

And I'll bet he was glad to be rid of it!

She's into pop nowadays.

I thought 'pop' was short for 'popular'. Doesn't sound she's been too much of that since her format changed.

I have her first three albums, The first one she sings pretty good for a twelve-year old. The second one, she still sings pretty good for a fourteen-year-old. By the third one you realize that she should have spent her time training instead of touring. She showed promise as a youngster. She's no longer a youngster.
