I'm really enjoying Mendelssohn's "Italian" Symphony.

I think my CD collection is a bit weak in the Mendelssohn area.

and following that is LVB's Piano Concerto # 4, which is another favorite of mine!

I also like his Violin Concerto, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. I think I wore my vinyl recording of Midsummer Night out. A beautiful work.

The Beethoven concerto is great, as well. Good Job.

I wonder what they have lined up for the Beethoven's Day schedule. I won't be able to listen, though. I'll be too busy working a booth at the Beethoven Day fair after the big Beethoven Day Parade. :D

If my old grey matter is correct....

Trumpet parts are Tacit in movement 2....

You just sit back when that happens and enjoy the beautiful music!

Listening to a Beethoven string quratet (in a sense, for the first time) - the Razumovsky - Beautiful!

Which one was it? Razumovsky 1, 2 or 3? They are great, all 3 have been my "favorite" Razumovsky at some point. Currently, my favorite is # 1.

Nevermind. I looked back at the log to see that it was indeed the # 1 Razumovsky. :)

*Strange...this Bach Sonata sounds like it was composed by LvB or Schubert.*

Hehe...I was typing that when the "theme" of the quintet came on. :D
