Interesting interpretation of Bach's Toccata, however, I think I prefer the more traditional. Cameron Carpenter's skill however is noteworthy. I've seen him play (videos etc.) and he is a madman on that organ.

Rudolph Serkin & Seiji Ozawa with LvB's "Choral Fantasy". I have just acquired this in Alfred Brendel's recording of the 5 concertos with James Levine & Bernard Haitink. (6 really). Although the recording is by no means as clear as this one, I prefer Brendel & Haitink's interpretation. They make it positively addictive listening.

Liking the orchestra version of The Doors People are Strange - kinda singing along... I think Jim Morrison would be amazed that it transfers so well ....

Naah. Disneyland is an hour and twenty minutes north of here. The commute just wouldn't work.

Then again, w so much of the family points north, you could move to Temecula, be closer to the offspring, and cut the commute in half.

strange day today...

I asked for the Boccherini a little while ago.... H.R.H. played it.....
Right when it started... I received a call from a contractor....

I will be subbing the 1st trumpet with the Amore Opera Company part in Mozart's - Marriage of Figaro this sunday....

Oh boy.... Revenge Aria...

I'll have to ask for the Boccherini again...
