Page 3 recap:

Still-living German (not southern) composer born between 1928 and 1955 who has lived in Germany mostly if not completely since birth. Composer is not Glanert, Matthus, Reiman, or Febel.

The work was composed in the 20th century and does not have more than two acts/movements/sections.

The weather is still fine, in the lower '80s with clearing skies and no registered precipitation.

Re: Naf's question: "Before 1955?". Usually that sort of question was assumed to refer to the composition rather than the birth of the composer.

Regarding my question on the liszt of composers, those were the names that I could come up with from my primary resources. I though it wasn't as bad as the A-M thing (it's bad even if it's a variation  ). At least, I have all the names. :P Infact, you could include questions like "European composer?" in that list, because you're effectively putting up a list of European nations. It's just that, in this case, the list is exhaustive.

the problem with the a-m method is that it doesn't have anything about who wrote the piece, rather it's about the name of the person who wrot ethe piece. subtle...

Sorry, guys. My mistake.

1712 Overture - Well, that was fun!
My initial thoughts were, "Oh, there's a piece with almost the same name as PIT's???" I didn't quite recognise the fictional Bach until the Yankee Doodle... tune started.

naf, Matthus has been dealt with, unless you're referring to another one, who has one T missing and an extra S in his name. :D

Btw, I just found another 10 composers who satisfy all conditions. (Well, I'm yet to check on the Berlin/East Germany thing)

Nav established a precedent.
:jedi: :jedi: :jedi: :jedi: :jedi: :jedi: :jedi: :jedi: and don't mess with my Jedi army!
basically it's one question with the merit of having a good elimination potential, but a not so good determination potential, since it can be any of these.
