Is it any of the U.S. Presidents? (Not a real question)

I have found a list of American film composers online, but I have not had time to go back through the list to look for possible matches to the criteria so far.

I'm surprised we didn't mention Steven Reich. We seem to have mention every American modern composer except for S.R. I actually thought of him, plus I've asked of him in another 30Q or 2, so I don't know why I didn't here.

Sorry that we didn't get at this one *ig. Tell us about the Steven Reich composition?

I think the 30Q has waned in interest a bit. I wouldn't mind seeing some new people joining in. Otherwise a little 30Q holiday or resting period might do the game some good.

He didn't show up in the list of film composers I found on line, unless I simply overlooked him. I found a few others that came close to fitting the description, but none that the glass slipper fit perfectly...

I may try one later in the week, or next week, if someone doesn't start one in the meantime. Right now I've got a few projects needing completion.

I kept writing that "he wrote some film music." he wrote a music for few films, but is not mostly known as a film composer, that might be why he's not on the list.

tehillim is a cool piece check it out. hebrew psalms. mostlry very rhytmic and energetic.

Good grief! I even have Tehillim on tape. Guess it's because I don't consider Reich a composer. Heh, heh. I really know how to hurt a guy.
What films did he write for?
