Hi! If you live near in or near Hartford I would like to encourage you to come and see the kids of the Hartt Community Division perform on Friday and Saturday night at the Bushnell with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. There will be two different groups performing. One will perform during the pre-concert program at 7 pm, and the other will perform on stage with the Orchestra. Of course you should also see these two shows because Sarah Chang is performing, but it is also great to see these kids get a once in a lifetime opportunity.

BTW, my son will play also. The following links are of videos of him performing. One is from June 2006 the other is from August 2006.

Hello Sandra,

Welcome to the B.com BB!

Sorry I'm not in the vicinity, or I would certainly try to make it.

Sandra, I welcome you to the BBB, too.

Sorry I'm not all that close this weekend, but I should be around that area in a month or so.

BTW, I'm impressed with his skills and maturity on the violin. The only instrument I can play well is the radio.

Who's Sarah?

I hope the event turns out well Sandra. Unfortunately Winnipeg is a tad far away from Connecticut.

Finally got the links to work from home. Hooray! I like that Czerdas - could almost see the dancing gypsy with the castanets. Why couldn't I hear the castanets? Gotta work on that.

Seriously, I'm impressed. My best instrument is a sewing machine. I'm also passable with the radio, CD player, computer.

May all his concerts bring him pleasure.
