Is it just my computer, or do the links not always show up as links. In OT's post above, the phrase "An article about the show" merely showed up as another line of text. it was not until I passed the cursor over it that it highlighted to show it was something other than simple text. I've seen this on other recent posts, as well.

I wonder how many links I've missed because I did not recognize them as such????

It's not on mine. Your the link to the History of the 30Q game in your signature is highlighted, but the link OT created is not. It auto-highlights if I drag a cursor across it. Otherwise it looks like simple text.

I attended the National Symphony Orchestra's presentation of Beethoven's 9th last Thursday evening. I have seen this piece performed live at least three times before, and I must say that DeeCee has the best chorus I've ever heard. Major raising of neck hairs.

Last night I had the privilege of attending the Santa Rosa Symphony's performance of "The Planets". Wow...they nailed it! It was one of those times when the whole orchestra became one giant instrument, perfectly coordinated and led by Bruno Ferrandis. In addition to the musical performance, the piece was augmented by a large overhead display of some of the best images of the solar system I have seen. As each "planet" was playing, the screen showed startling 3-D close-ups of each planet along with actual NASA images taken by various probes and telescopes. I had goosebumps just watching it.

The last piece, Neptune was skillfully handled with the women's choir performing a beautiful fade-out that left everyone feeling the vast expanse of the universe and beyond. Surely, a night to remember.

Yes, I did.

It was an electrifying evening! It was a sellout also.

Started w/ Haydn Symphony No. 94 "Surprise", and then Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 4, and the 2nd half was Beethoven's 5th Symphony. Simply amazing. The transition from the ending of the 3rd mvt. into the anthemic 4th movement was just fantastic, raised the hairs on the back of my neck!
