Holy Crud! The big question I have is this: How did you allow anyone to get so close to your own post count? Last time I was here, you had twice as many posts as the closest contender!

Egad!

There was a contest to reach 100K posts before the end of 2006...

It was said to be an impossible goal...

Well........ I never take "It can't be done" for an answer.... SO

I became a little post whore  and with the help of OCD....
did a countdown on that thread...

We reached the 100K barrier before Christmas!

Hal9000,

The music has been going very well....
Got to solo a number of times with my brass ensemble this past summer.

How far are you from Augusta, Georgia?
My parents have since moved to that area?

Great to have you back!

Regards,
TM

Hi, Mary!

Glad you dropped in.

We have a few conversations going, off and on, about music. We keep trying to lure new blood into the group, but they seem reluctant to join.

We're not really that intimidating, I don't think. But perhaps we are.

BTW, I finally ordered Aaron's CD from B&N, but it hasn't arrived yet. I'm not sure what the holdup is. I ordered it with some books for my son, which arrived. I assume they ship from different warehouses, so that may the cause of the delay. I'm looking forward to listening to it once it arrives.

TM is a machine when he sets his mind to it. Even with the iMac and its fast refresh rate, he'd match me post for post, and then just flat out wear me down.

It was like he was forsaking work and family....

:D Marye! How are you my dear? Good to see you again as well! And just so you know, all 3 may return eventually. The vote is just to see where to begin, and it's a close race between Top Ten and Opus X right now. Whichever one wins, it will begin within a week and will last for week (Top Ten used to be a 2 week game, Opus X a month long one).

I received my copy of Aaron's CD in yesterday's mail. I had the opportunity to listen to it last night, albeit with numerous interruptions. Hopefully, I'll have the opportunity this weekend to give it a more thorough listening.
