A NEW TRIVIA RIDDLE!

Postby Flowerboy » Wed Dec 20, 2000 12:12 am

I've loved to read these riddles of shos', and ive learned to come up with one. I have one now that i'd think would be very difficult to cipher. But good luck. I wont expect a correct answer for a while. GOOD LUCK!
RESSURCTION OF A ROMANTIC REFORMATION WILL PRODUCE A DANCE WITH THE DEVIL.
GOOD LUCK
FLOWERBOY

Since you use the word "cipher", I assume it's a numerical riddle. I also assume "produce" refers to an arithmetic operation. Is the devil Stalin?

Hi Peter. Yes I hear bells in 1905. They are alarming. But I don't hear a devil dance there, and it's a prime example of a symphony. Movement 2 of the one before it is a wild caricature of Stalin, and that's where I came down. Where do you hear the devil in 1905? Shos

I agree that symphony 10 fits better if the devil is indeed Stalin, but then, as I count it, the clues don`t fit!

Hi again Peter. I got 2 (Resurrection), 5 (Reformation), and took "produce" to mean product. 2X5=10. Flowerboy, we need you.

I added together: (Mahler) 2 "Resurrection", (Bruckner) 4 "Romantic", & (Mendelssohn) 5 "Reformation" = 11.
