And no one mentions how attractive "Elisabetta" is.

Am I the only one thinking that?

I think you should post more attractive women on the bulletin board. Just a suggestion.

Surely Elisabetta was not the only attractive lady there?

The photo is actually one of Elisabetta's ladies-in-waiting, and don't call me Shirley.

I've got a date for La Traviata this Friday night. The date was set a long time ago, but I thought I ought to marry her in the meantime, just to make sure she didn't try to weasel out of it. :D

Keeping On Topic, and posting something musically relevant, one of the choirs Piq and I are in, the San Diego Choral Arts Ensemble(try saying that three times fast), will be performing at St. Gregory the Great Catholic "Community"(I think that means church), at the corner of Cypress Canyon Rd and Blue Cypress in Scripps Ranch, this Saturday. We will compliment their 5pm evening worship, then perform a short concert at 7pm.

Our concert repetoire:

To be posted as soon as I get my music out of Piq's car. :o

I admire the concert repetoire. I think I've sung that one.

Sadly, I shall be unable to attend. We will be in San Jose. (I know the way. 15-10-210-5, left at the rec lake, right at the garlic patch. Put the car on recycled air before Harris ranch.)

Everyone else, consider attending. That's a great venue. The entire church interior is hard-surfaced and the acoustics are superb. Allow time to admire the grounds, the landscaping is just lovely.

Thanks, Selma for the plug. As I was posting, I realized the music was in her car, but I wanted to get that on the board before I forgot. I'll give more specifics, but Herbert Howells' Requiem, plus some pieces arranged by Lauritsen will be performed.

Have you eaten at Harris Ranch? Piq turned me onto it recently as a breakfast stop. Not bad, & the decor is a hoot.

<HIJACK ALERT>

Even more of a hoot is the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. Piq showed me that one, too, on the way back from our honeymoon. All I can say is: "OH MY". Overly overdone, but done with quality materials and craftsmanship.

Just stay away from Balboa Park on the way to the zoo. Is this sound advice Sandyeggoans?

I used to live in San Diego, and lived close to Balboa Park for a short peroid of time. The rest of the time, I lived out in La Mesa. I have a lady friend whom recently bought a house over in Balboa Park. She loves it there? But it has been at least 6 years since I have been there.

Balboa Park's a pretty good place. I've walked thru there alone at night quite comfortably.
And in day time, its wunnerful!
