Blame the newbie here....this just might offend some here but I was wondering if anyone had seen the Concert with Metallica and members of the SF Symphony conducted by Michael Kamen.....and what your thoughts were?

Having only recently swept away the ashes of my scathing, vitriolic post, no Scotty, (beam me up ~#:^I ), but you should know that I just finished d/l ing
a tetrazillion mega bytes of music from that great big jukebox in the cyber sky, known as Napsta.
HOWEVER, I will say, that if I actually LIKE something, I will dutifully acquire the CD(in accordance with protocol of the local musician's union chapter)proof positive that you can still get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant. Okay Lelise thanks for the vote of confidence......I dont know if Mettalica will be on Napstar since they are spearheading the lawsuit against them, but I was just testing the waters about the album.....I have the DVD so I get the benifit of commentary and the making of video.......Mr. Kamen in my mind is brilliant, and spent allot of time with this project......he went to several differnt venues while the band was touring, so that he could take notes and make all of the arraingements for the collaboration......I will say that it was a refreshing spin on the music and the arraingements were done well in that they enhance they music nicely while adding a new dimension to the same old stuff.........might I also say that on the DVD you can see that the members of the SF Symphony were having fun doing it too.....which only tells me that it was enjoyable and not just another job for them as well.......Thanks........Sorry for Offending you Peter
