We just see Bush's foreign policy. You just see Blair's foreign policy. I guess we both know little of respective domestic policies, thus I'd not want to comment. Britain could have taken Iraq, but would not have gone alone. We only go alone as in the case of say the Falklands which belonged to us. The 1950s Suez lesson is still vivid in British memories. I personally believe it was the right thing to do to support the USA 100% after 9/11. I have seen the graves at the top of Omaha Beach, Normandy . . . and we don't forget! Peace be with you.

Medium Density Fiberboard.

When I first heard about it, I thought it was just particle board, but it seems to be a much more refined product. It's a lot smoother on the surfaces, and it's apparently a lot easier on the saws and other tools.

I believe CarHenge is in Texas, isn't it?

Carhenge was in a field on the south side of I40 just west of Amarillo Tx. But I heard a rumor it had moved or was gone. Haven't been that way since I left 'the road' in 2000 so mayhaps someone else knows the facts?

I gotta see MDFHenge.
Then there's "prefab"Henge on the UCSD Revelle Campus. I'm not sure what its official title is.

Haggis - there's your follow up book to "The Doors" .... "Henges"!

Conversation between George W. and his National Security Advisor, Condolezza Rice:

George: Condi! Nice to see you. What's happening?
Condi: Sir, I have the report here about the new leader of China.
George: Great. Lay it on me.
Condi: Hu is the new leader of China.
George: That's what I want to know.
Condi: That's what I'm telling you.
George: That's what I'm asking you. Who is the new leader of China?
Condi: Yes.
George: I mean the fellow's name.
Condi: Hu.
George: The guy in China.
Condi: Hu.
George: The new leader of China.
Condi: Hu.
George: The Chinaman!
Condi: Hu is leading China.
George: Now whaddya' asking me for?
Condi: I'm telling you Hu is leading China.
George: Well, I'm asking you. Who is leading China?
Condi: That's the man's name.
George: That's who's name?
Condi: Yes.
George: Will you or will you not tell me the name of the new leader of China?
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Yassir? Yassir Arafat is in China? I thought he was in the Middle East.
Condi: That's correct.
George: Then who is in China?
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Yassir is in China?
Condi: No, sir.
George: Then who is?
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Yassir?
Condi: No, sir.
George: Look, Condi. I need to know the name of the new leader of China. Get me the Secretary General of the U.N. on the phone.
Condi: Kofi?
George: No, thanks.
Condi: You want Kofi?
George: No.
Condi: You don't want Kofi.
George: No. But now that you mention it, I could use a glass of milk. And then get me the U.N.
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Not Yassir! The guy at the U.N.
Condi: Kofi?
George: Milk! Will you please make the call?
Condi: And call who?
George: Who is the guy at the U.N?
Condi: Hu is the guy in China.
George: Will you stay out of China?!
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: And stay out of the Middle East! Just get me the guy at the U.N.
Condi: Kofi.
George: All right! With cream and two sugars. Now get on the phone.
(Condi picks up the phone.)
Condi: Rice, here.
George: Rice? Good idea. And a couple of egg rolls, too. Thanks
Lliam.

Your coming up to the election with only 6 1/2 days to go, have you made your minds up yet?

In the left corner you have:
Senator John F. Kerry

Objectives

· President of the United States of America.
· Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Education

· 1976, Law, Boston College
· 1966, B.A., Political Science, Yale University

Personal

· Wealthiest U.S. Senator. [Kerry’s family fortune is estimated to be at least $750 million. As a member of the Forbes family, he inherited a great deal of wealth, attended exclusive boarding schools, and was raised in the lap of luxury. While his policies would increase the taxes paid by most Americans, his team of lawyers and accountants has managed to keep his personal tax rate to under 13%.]
· Married Julia Thorne [net worth $300 million]; divorced, two daughters.
· Married to Teresa Heinz Kerry [whose net worth far exceeds Ms. Thorne], three stepsons.
· Pastimes include travel [the Senator’s family owns a $35 million private jet], sailing [his family owns a 45-foot yacht], driving [Kerry’s family (though he says, not him personally), own four SUVs], relaxing [in any of five mansions], and speaking French.

References

· Michael Moore, filmmaker [and shameless Marxist propagandist].
· Jimmy Carter, former U.S. President [known for his political naïveté, pacifism, and moral relativism].
· Dan Rather, journalist [and peddler of falsified documents targeted at smearing President Bush].
· Mahathir Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia. [Mohamad, who last year called on Muslims to unite against Jews towards a "final victory", has endorsed Senator Kerry’s presidential bid.]
· Kim-Jong Il, North Korean ruler. [The totalitarian, who has starved millions of his people and is developing nuclear weapons to threaten the U.S., has endorsed a Kerry presidency].
· Prof. Peter Singer, Princeton professor. [An outspoken advocate of infanticide and bestiality.]

=================================================

In the right corner you have:
President George W. Bush

Objectives

· Continued strong and principled leadership of the United States of America and Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.
· Total victory in the war to eradicate terrorists who kill and maim the innocent.
· Continued work to advance freedom in the world so that America will be more secure and the world more peaceful.
· Continued effort to promote job and economic growth through the private sector, repair America’s failing schools through standards and accountability, and defend core American values of liberty, democracy, family, self-reliance, and religious freedom.
Education

1973-1975, M.B.A, Harvard University
1964-1968, B.A., History, Yale University

Personal
· Married since 1977, with two daughters.
· Pastimes include baseball and running.

References

· Zell Miller, Senator (Democrat, Georgia).
· Ed Koch, Democrat and former Mayor of New York City.
· Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of California.
· Rudy Guliani, former Mayor, New York City.
· General Tommy Franks, commander of American and allied forces in Iraq.

I don't know if you all remember who Katherine Harris is but get a load of this:

MIAMI (Reuters) - A Florida motorist was arrested Wednesday on charges of trying to run down U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris at an intersection where the controversial former state elections chief was campaigning for re-election to Congress.
No one was hurt. Witnesses noted the car's license tag number and police tracked the owner, Barry Seltzer, 46, of Sarasota, who was jailed early Wednesday on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He said he was annoyed because some of Harris' supporters were blocking traffic, the arrest report said.

"I was exercising my political expression," it quoted him as saying. "I did not run them down, I scared them a little."

Harris was Florida's secretary of state and its top election official during the state's presidential ballot recount battle in 2000. Vilified by Democrats for her role in halting the recounts
I'm sure the guy was just one of our exemplary drivers but it was kinda funny in a sick sorta way.
