I have got to think his cousin and family would assume he would have that resolve, and would support it. I would if I were in their shoes. And then I would fervently pray that justice found the perpetrators.

The papers are reporting it is believed that Margaret Hassan has been executed by the terrorists.

What escapes me is that the average, ordinary, decent Iraqis aren't going beserk about this.

1. For the young, brainwashing. If you saw the state of the schools in Iraq, critical thinking was not on the course list, indoctrination was.

2. I would probably develop a duck and cover mentality after decades of Sadman's rule. Speaking out got you killed. Better to stay silent and alive.
