I have that spool of pink thread. I 'borrowed' it from my mom's sewing kit. It's purt near as old as I am. I have Mohammed at home!
And if I print the cartoon, I have his portrait! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I dunno. The cherry is an obvious fake Mohammed. And the spool of thread seems too well-wrapped.

I dunno, I dont think Mohammed, prophet of Islam, could really be a dog given the general islamic feeling that dogs are unclean and all.
On teh other hand, the prospect pleases.

FROM ZOMBIE: South Park is the least of Islam’s problems: The Mohammed Image Archive displays every Mohammed portrait ever created.

Quite interesting. I wonder if I created a thread called “Mohammed” if BB.com would delete it and ban me???

Mark Steyn gives us the line of the day, but we need to allow him a couple of paragraphs to set it up:

Last week, the American Association of Pediatricians noted that certain, ahem, "immigrant communities" were shipping their daughters overseas to undergo "female genital mutilation." So, in a spirit of multicultural compromise, they decided to amend their previous opposition to the practice: They're not (for the moment) advocating full-scale clitoridectomies, but they are suggesting federal and state laws be changed to permit them to give a "ritual nick" to young girls.

A few years back, I thought even fainthearted Western liberals might draw the line at "FGM." After all, it's a key pillar of institutional misogyny in Islam: Its entire purpose is to deny women sexual pleasure.

True, many of us hapless Western men find we deny women sexual pleasure without even trying, but we don't demand genital mutilation to guarantee it. On such slender distinctions does civilization rest.

I use to need to pull out my birth certificate more and more to assure myself I am a citizen of this country, I’m not sure it’s worth the effort anymore.

How utterly dispicable

Police enforce Shari'a laws in dearborn, MI. This happened last year as well but I don't think there were any arrest. Dearborn is going to be a lot poorer, soon.

awesome line. I'm wondering if the use of the word "slender" was supposed to suggest something.

Public Schools: The ‘Fertile Grounds’ for Sowing ‘the Seeds of Islam . . . inside the Hearts of Non-Muslim Students’

Here is the story. A sixth-grade class in Wellesley, Massachusetts, was dragged by their teachers to the notorious Roxbury mosque — the $15 million Saudi-funded, minareted Islamic center started by Abdurrahman Alamoudi (now serving a 23-year terrorism sentence) and run by the Muslim American Society (the quasi-official arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States). Capitalizing on the goo that passes for “social studied” curricula, parents were told the “field trip” was “to learn about the architecture of the mosque and observe a midday prayer service.” One parent was concerned enough to volunteer as a chaperone and bring along a camera.

The result is stunning: an unabashed exercise in Islamic dawa, the “call to Islam” and the manner by which the Brotherhood’s spiritual guide, Yusuf Qaradawi, promises that Islam will “conquer America” and “conquer Europe.” Qaradawi — wonder of wonders — is a trustee of the Roxbury mosque (although he is banned from the U.S. for sanctioning terrorism). As the video relates, “Dawa Net,” one Islamic organization that instructs on how to use the schools to inculcate the young, explains that public schools in America are “fertile grounds where the seeds of Islam can be sowed inside the hearts of non-Muslim students.”

Why couldn't she take annual leave and go in her own time? Is there a requirement that teachers take holidays only during school holidays?

Islam is creeping in all over the world, beware! In Europe there's 50 million Muslims. In the UK, no one knows for sure but mosques are being built nationwide even though people are protesting. It seems the Muslim influence is taking over in CT.
Have you guys had any plans for mosques to be built in your neighbourhoods?

A state judge in Pennsylvania has dismissed an assault and harassment case against a Muslim defendant who admitted attacking the victim. Magistrate Judge Mark Martin, a veteran of the war in Iraq and a convert to Islam, ruled that Talag Elbayomy’s sharia defense — what he claimed was his obligation to strike out against any insult against the prophet Mohammed — trumped the First Amendment free speech rights of the victim.

Yes, you read that correctly.

There will be much more to say about this. For now, you can find details, here, including the YouTube recording of Judge Martin hectoring the assault victim, Ernie Perce, an activist atheist who paraded last October in a “Zombi Mohammed” costume.

Before dismissing the case, Martin lectured Perce about the principles of Islam and the tender sensibilities of Muslims, calling him a “dufus” for failing to appreciate same.

Not here in Hawaii, but I have seen some women in burqas, so no doubt mosques are on their way.

This is fear masquerading as broadmindedness. It’s all about the beheadings. So if you want respect for your religion, start beheading people. That’s the real message.
