I've just received this in my e-mail , me think's it should have been posted on the 'Jokes' forum:

There is a feature, whereby if you shut down the computer with a folder open in
wunduhs uxplorer (such as the My Documents folder), then when you restart, wunduhs
politely re-opens the folder in wunduhs explorer. To be sure about this, close the
folder (and anything else open as well, such as progs. like wurd), stop the computer,
restart, and see...
No entry in Programs > Startup is involved...

The gurus at work tell me that all open programs should be closed when you close down your computer, otherwise they are inclined to fragment and go all over the place, slowing operations something shocking if they're not attended to.

Thank's DB, that's the problem I never close down with files open.
