Having trouble this morning

I am getting the same message too. I think Listen Live is down. Give Nicole and crew some time to sort it out. I guess I will have to control my Beethoven.com withdrawls in the meantime

Thanks Devin for saying. I wrote to Eric with my whimper about not hearing a thing and he was kind enough to write back and say, there is a glitch.

I do so hate not hearing beethoven.com I am forced to listen to tunes elsewhere.

I suspect we have a dead server, either at b.com or at the Adsertion connection. This looks like a "hard down". The staff is probably doing the radio job and nagging Kevin. Somebody, somewhere, is still looking for the fried board, or reloading the opsystem, or something. Down computers get ugly.

I've put on CDs and abandoned hope for the day.

I'VE GOT THE ANSWER!!! (From the man Kevin Shively)

As you may or may not know, Beethoven.com partners with a company called Adsertion, who hosts the Beethoven Radio player. Apparently, there was an error on the part of the domain registration company that incorrectly redirected the domain adsertion.com to an incorrect location. Since it takes 24-48 hours for such changes to propagate throughout the Internet, Adsertion did not see the problem until this morning, when it began propagating to locations mainly on the East Coast. They stopped the error with the domain registration company, but it will take a little while for the new change itself to propagate.

In short, we have been assured that the error will be corrected to about 90-95% by tomorrow. Although the error was not caused by Beethoven.com or its direct partners, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our listeners.

It's midnight-fifteen here, in California, and I tried the b.com Listen Live here, at home. It worked! Hooray!

I now have hopes for tomorrow. Perhaps my work computer will get tunes tomorrow. Something to look forward to.
