Ah well, I had a bit of stream earlier, but it's one of those dotted line streams I guess, since it's dried up now.

Hmm, listen to the wondy rain (soon to be snow) fall, or go off to listen to garage bands.. Hmmm...

Still no stream in DC.

Two full days with no beethoven radio? I fear I'm going to miss the comedy bit at 10. I'll check back, but I'm growing despondent.

I'm back to listening to Ohio. The sound quality is definitely inferior to b.com's stream (when it's up :( ) and the music is less interesting than the b.com "without the attitude" approach.

Also there's an intermittent 1 Hz tick in their stream. I may give up and go back to CDs. Hope the adsertion issues are resolved soon.

Miss my b.com

Mutha' F**** Hackers! They hacked Adsertion so bad that they can not get up and running by the time they expected. Adsertion tech staff and ours have teamed up to fix the problem. We have no ETA on when we will be back on the air. Sorry folks.

But for those in our Hartford area, tune into WTMI AM 1290! We are still running on our local station.

It lacked only this. There's some PHB coming through Monday, so we are now in "Tidy Friday" mode. There will be no useful work done until my cube has been neatified.

It could be worse. Dean1 and Dean2 have major projects in their cubes, Bill2 just locks the server room door and pretends he's in a secured space, and there's no hope for Chrissie's cube.

I've hung my chickenfoot fetish on top of the skeleton tree on my computer. Perhaps it'll repel visitors, as well as virii.

I hate to be cynical here, but it seems like it might be an ongoing hack. At the moment, I get the window, but no stream, but I got the stream yesterday, so something broke that was fixed yesterday, whaaaaah.

Maybe a Denial of Service attack that keeps morphing and sneaking around the gags put on? Or maybe persistant hackers that manage to keep coming back somehow...

I dunno what Adsertion did to anyone though! Grrrr.

I have no idea what you just said, Ben.

If I had to fix it I'd have to unhook everything, format C, reload all the programs, pray to St. Vidicon of Hertz, chant, shake my fetishes, and then reconnect to my web portal.

I have a feeling the chanting is the most effective part of this ceremony. I'd be the people who let BigBlue or HP or Cisco deal with the details...

Benito, don't be cynical (I am guessing you are posting about our hack). Adsertion was hacked on Wed. They thought it was fixed late yesterday. The patch did not work and they then discovered the hack went further then they first thought. They then had to rework the patch. They think it may be fixed today but how knows. People wil get a variety of error messages, don't go based on the errors you see, it's the hack. Best bet is to keep trying and we will let you know when it's all fixed.
