why would you burn a nice soft innocent tarantula? they are lovely critturs.

In FL< had a palmetto bug in silverware drawer. dead. /big ant trail to drawer. 8 hours later no ants, no roach. amazing how they got the carapace out. Put entire contents of drawer in dishwasher, washed drawer. ate takeout with plastic-ware for a couple of days.


my roomie laquered a p-bug to the floor of our guest bathroom, using hairspray. simultaneous death & preservation. she left it there because "it looks so natural". I learned all this after I sprayed the mother with Raid.

cat long dead, no tissue left from which to clone. miss her - great cat!

Yup! i was once obsessed with trying to capture flies so that i could glue little cone hats on them and miniature brooms made with toothpicks so that they would look like mini-flying witches. Maybe I'll try again for this halloween.....oh wait, it's getting cold in New England....flies are scarce
