Private Message Gone

Today I got an email notification that I had a new private message. When I opened up the Bulletin Board I got a flasher up top that said I had one unread message. By the time I got to the PM page there were no new messages. Can a message be withdrawn by the sender before they are read? What else might have happened?

I refreshed the page so it was not a "reading from cache" issue.

Hmmm... not sure on this one. The all mighty Chris Larsen who runs all that needs electricity for Beethoven.com is on vacation until after the new year. I'll let him know when he comes back. Sorry we can't help.

Do you know who sent it? You can ask them to send it again?

That's what was weird, there was no content listed. Just a notification of a new message. Like the message had been cut off in mid sent . . .
