" ...am sure our dear friends tastes change as peoples tastes change too!"

probably true, though I think it odd that both the dogs and the cats would suddenly develop a distaste for it simultaneously!

Even the wildebeast seem to be shunning it. The skunks, raccoons, and opossums used to devour anything that was left in the bowl after dark. They don't seem to be coming around lately. The skunks may be hibernating, but I think it is too early and too warm for that. The groundhogs are still out and about, i would expect no less of the skunks. Racoons and opossums don't hibernate, I'm told, so they should be foraging about.

TM, you and your family have my deepest sympathies. I know our animal "children" can be as close as human children - sometimes even closer. I lost one of my cats a few years ago, and even though she was one of those non-pack types, she always wanted to be by my side.

I'm deeply saddened by your loss.

My dear friends,

it is almost 2 weeks now... the grieving is still strong . we both wish Jenny was still with us,
but each day gets a little better
At this time we do not plan to get another animail (I pray that will change as I love animals)
this has been very difficult for us to deal with.

At times we wonder if we gave her enough love... I told my wife.. yes as she would always
wag her tail at us. She was a big mush.

we finally removed her water/feeding dishes. We were both instinctivly going
to fill her dish with fresh water... (must have done that 10 times a day)
Her beds still remain as we are not yet ready to take them out.

I miss my baby every day and look to the sky and say, I will meet you at the Rainbow Bridge!
