Hi Piq-

I'd support that type of service more. Send a coach out with you. It's easier for other people to get an outside view and give you hints. I think that is more productive and beneficial then some random matchmaker agency hanging you out to dry.

The only reason I know of it is due to the quite funny book "How to lose friends and alienate people" by Toby Young. I bought it for beach reading last summer - the description of the resulting conversation is worth the price of the book - or at least the trip to the library to borrow it.

I'm in total agreement with HRH about dating services - and so many of them do not, in any way, live up to their promises...

I was out last night, trendy place in Hartford, having a drink with a friend of mine who models, so very attractive, well dressed. We were sitting next to an attractive woman in a business suit who was at the bar alone eating dinner around 9. We had to reach past each other for a few things, so we started chatting a little and I asked if she worked in a law firm, and her jaw dropped - I pointed out that there arent'a ton of professions where you end up grabbing a bite to eat in a bar at 9. She laughed and said that she was waiting for her sister.

her sister shows up, also a very attractive woman, and they head out to have a smoke. I held their chair for them, and when they came back in I jokingly said that they owed me a beer. They bought me one and we all started talking (the first refers to her sister as "Jessica Simpson" but they were both very nice and well spoken)joking around, laughing, carrying on...kinda like old friends week.

My friend's (the model) boyfriend showed up, there was a little bit of shifting, I spoke to him for a minute, and when I turned back around, the two sisters were paying their bill, the second kissed me on the cheek and they left...

THAT's about how it runs for me...
:)

How's the radio show thing coming?

it's in old German. you're not supposed to understand. (think of a piece that has sections in old German and Latin) search through it for these lines.
