Sometimes I feel the need to dis the president, but not at the moment. However, as he seems to have Iran in his sights, let me name-drop an Iranian composer: Aminollah Hossein. His Arya and Persepolis Symphonies are pretty nice. They are atmospheric and not too challenging. He also wrote a Scheherazade Suite (about 20 min long). I don't know if these works are found on CD. They should be.
