I'd appreciate an email or something explaining why something I posted recently has been removed. I don't think it was hurting anyone, but I guess I am wrong

I deleted it. Beethoven.com is copyright property. I understand you called your chat room the unofficial Beethoven.com chat room but you still used the phrase Beethoven.com. We can't have our image out there without us having some control over it, especially in a chat room setting. Kevin Shively will be in touch shortly to further explain the issue. I hope you understand. We have a business to run and we have a very powerful domain name we need to look after.

Since there seems to be at least a slight interest, I'll redo it without breaking the copyright laws I was previously ignorant of.

It's back up, not even my email address <which contains the forbidden phrase> it there now.

I hope you received my message about this issue. I wanted everyone to know that we do appreciate your understanding about this issue. Unfortunately, we have to be very protective about the name Beethoven.com to protect our ability to serve in promoting classical music.

As for your email address, of course you're free to use it in any way you see fit. Whenever xxx@beethoven.com appears anywhere, it's obvious that it's an email address and provides a distinction from our company directly. Feel free to post it anywhere you want (in fact, we do appreciate the marketing it provides, which, frankly, is one reason for providing the email service, obviously).

Again, we know your heart was in the right place and we appreciate that. Thank you again for your understanding.

I just went there, and it was deserted.. I think that 1st_oboe had closed the window without logging out cuz she disappeared without a word (I don't think I'm on her bad list at least..)

Maybe a party would be in order sometime. A set time where there would be a handful of people or something.

Back when the original message was posted, I believe Bones said that he had gone there and found it deserted, and suggested some sort of a schedule when 1st might be there.

Dunno what happened, I went there once myself and was very, very lonely.

The chat system automatically logs you out after a certian period of inactivity, which is why I disappeared. I have it set to play a sound when someone enters the room, but it didn't work for some reason.
I think your idea of having a set time is a good one, as I've only seen 3 people from the board in there at all. I'm on at pretty random times, so I won't be the one to set the time.
Anyone that wants to take the lead and say "let's meet at..." feel free.
