No, I'm an American civilian. ;)

I never had a major. Minors, I had. Multiple. English, Liberal Arts, Math, Electronics. And I've been a Peripheral Systems clerk, keypunch operator, OCR typist, Aviation Sheetmetal Mechanic, Cal Lab geek, and tech writer.

ROFL! I can't stand it when I mix up words like that. . .
or when other people do. IE: bear, bare. two, too. quiet, quit, quite. etc

Yesterday we went for a long walk and pram ride(>6.5 miles), and Altoid chose the occasion to show off her Valentine's Day gift new linens for the pram, made by Piq(with help from Selma):

I tell her Mommy's about to come home just before I snap the photo, and she stops the continuous crying and smiles every time!

I think its a testament to whatever scrambled gene sequence got put together. I sure as heck dont smile that much. And I havent a clue what she's got to smile about but she do purely love being the center of attention. I think it will be healthier for her to be a soprano, all things considered (except OT's feelings).
Altoid - curiously strong.

I might join on that only because it's physically impossible for her to be a tenor!

"Linens" are cotton. flannel. Good stuff! Piq has fine taste in color and pattern selection and both she and I deeply regretted the lack of lime-green thread for the edge-work. (Only need eight miles or so. But no lime-green to be found :( )

i see what you're saying. lime would definitely have put it all together very nicely.

i am truly a sucker for good linens... and a comfy pair of sweats :)

I'm sure I could have found lime green on-line somewhere. However, both time and budget were limited so Piq checked local stores, and then we ended up with Piq digging through my large basket of serger cones. The red looks good; we just think lime green would have been outstanding!

Lime would have been nice, but I, and I think I speak for Altoid as well, think the linens are truly wondermous and fantificent! My better half has a phenomenal eye for color. I don't think I would have been brave enough to put those patterns together in my mind's eye.

She does look smashing surrounded by them, no?

In spite of missing the lime green, the linens did indeed come out very nicely.
