*ignaf,
What you say is true, but the Yanks should score alot of runs this year.
They have Tino back (always thought he was a fine hitter and class act) hitting at the bottom of the lineup.
Mazzone is a great coach. Kudos to him with the job he has done.
It will be interesting to see what happens.
Is it opening day yet???????? :)

if they stay healthy they'll score a lot of runs, but Bernie isn't a good hitter anymore, Giambi - can he do it w/o the juice? Matsui, however, is very underrated, he's a great hitter IMO! I hope you don't re-sign him! :)
does anyone here want to join my yahoo fantasy baseball league? it's a rotisserie with sabermetrical scoring categories.

Bernie is not the hitter he once was but I would still take him in a clutch situation.

Giambi hit the homer yesterday! I know it's only spring training but it was against the Red Sox and
the Yanks did win the game :-)

I agree with you on Matsui! He is outstanding.
They better re-sign him.

Never was in a rotisserie league. Please PM me and give me the details!

Go Yanks!!!!!

TM :)

Two weeks and two days before my trip to England/Ireland. You bet I'm counting down.

How are trip plans for everyone else (OT and Piq) panning out??? Does the summer hold fun?

I'm still on for a trip to Sitka, Alaska this weekend for fishing.

Someone record the Indy 500 for me, will you?

Once. See the photo near the top of page 10 of the "Culture Connections / quitting smoking" thread (talk about hijacking!).

Our trip is still on. Lots of annoying little issues to deal with, but so far it looks as though we're still going on that great first baby travelling adventure!

Word of advice - do not make first trip with baby part of a package tour, unless its a package tour expressely designed for parents and babies.

Altoid is easy to travel with. Tours are easy to take. The annoying issues are all around integrating Altoid and the tour.

Saxy - many pix. If you take yours and post them first, we'll see how many we can duplicate, (plus Altoid), just for giggles & grins. ;)
Altoid - curiously strong.

LOL. I will try to do so. I don't have a site like you guys do to post them though. I'll have to find some way to do that. I expect to get some beauties in Ireland. (My dad is a photographer -and taught me how to search out lighting and unique settings). I have faith in myself.

Can't wait to see more pix of Altoid - she's just so darn photogenic!!
