The folks in Texas really think they have decent Mexican food. Oddly enough, I found a great German Deli about two blocks from the Alamo. It turns out that there were a lot of German settlers in that part of Texas after the Civil War. The German food tasted pretty German, so I assumed the Mexican food was also authentic.
