I only go to hole-in-the-wall places when I'm looking for authentic food. Several years ago I had been to San Antonio and had some great Tex-Mex food at a little nameless joint. I went back there this trip and it's now a Fudruckers! It's getting harder and harder to find good food in the places that have a lot of tourists. Mr. and Mrs. Bumpkin American just won't support places that involve anything that's unfamiliar. It's kind of sad.Originally posted by Saxy Buff:
<btw, wasn't being snippy earlier, about the Mexican food. . .if you can find a hole-in-the-wall family owned place, you're better off. Casa Ole is NOT Mexican food> [/QB]

ROFLMAO! OT, you get experienced at predicting tornados by how the weather sounds. IE< if you hear a train and you are nowhere near train tracks, duck for cover. . .if the clouds are a soupy green color and moving in a rotating bottom over top pattern, duck for cover. . .if the ground is shaking contantly, pictures are moving on the walls, and your dishes are signing, run for cover. . .You learn out here how to tell. . .SB, earthquakes are nuthin'. Y'all get hurricanes and tornadoes!!
