Well, here we go again.
I moved to Wyoming last week!
After playing a great season with the Treasure Valley Symphony in Oregon, I decided it was time to move on and try some new things.
I'm staying with a family that I've known here, thanks to my many years of coming to music camp. The exec. director of Young Musicians, Inc. (the organization that puts together the camp) has requested that I become a member of the Board of Directors, pending the approval of the current board at the next meeting.
And, best of all, I've already got a gig lined up. I came down here with the intent of finding a job for the summer, then joining the Murray Symphony (SLC metro) in the fall. But come to find out, they still have one more concert to go, and need some extra wind parts covered, so I will be playing oboe, saxes, and bassoon in a concert with a new (to me) orcherstra next week!
Life is great.
Cheers!
Aaron
