WICKED anyone?

Has anyone seen the Broadway show WICKED, based on the life and times of the Wicked Witch of the West (Wizard of OZ)?

If so, what's your review of the show?

I'm also gearing up for a production of SPAMALOT in Boston in April -- run away...run away!!! I've heard the reviews are great for both the original in NYC, and the off-broadway shows.

Saw "Wicked" in NYC and my sister saw it in Chicago a few weeks ago. We both thought it was very excellent. I plan to se "Spamalot" in Boston-reminds me to get on those tickets!

Good luck in getting Spamalot tix..Best bet -- Call TicketMaster direct and have them do a Master Search for best seats available for number in your party. I got REALLY lucky, the tix I got were Orchestra 4th Row that had been purchased 1st day of sale and then returned more than a month later. They did NOT show up on Internet. I had a very helpful telephone rep that worked with me.

However, I can't get 4 together for Wicked in April (during school week vacation to take kids) for anything. I finally gave up (but, still have fingers crossed with some lookouts) and may shoot for show in NYC in fall. What I did do is pick up dinner theater tix instead at the Newport Playhouse and Caberet for a Friday Night. The evening should be a good time.

Thanks for the advice, David. Haven't been to Newport in ages...I used to go down to watch tennis matches- what shows are playing????
