Hi, everyone, I'm new to this BB.

I'm an avid handbell ringer; been ringing for 15 years and I love it! I ring in a semi pro group and we recorded a CD last fall. It's still being edited, but as soon as it becomes available, I plan to send a copy to Beethoven.com We have some wonderful pieces on there, including a transcription of the Bach Passacaglia in C minor which was arranged just for us! It has not yet been published, so at this time, ours is the only recording of it. We are very proud of that. We also recorded Sabre Dance and a Bach Pastorale, as well as many other lovely pieces all of which I hope will be played on the air.

Any other bellringers out there??

I think there was a guy named Quasimodo logged on here at one time - but he may be on a bigger scale than you're accustomed to...

Hi, bell.

I'm afraid the only musical instrument I have any talent for is the radio.

Hi bellringer1953,
Welcome to the BBB! (I know, it's quite late for a welcome, but you have to consider the 9.5+ hrs time-zone difference. :D )

P.S. Off Topic: Hey, the emoticon comes up where I want it to. Working from Opera/Ubuntu. I'm not sure if it does in Opera/XP.

welcome bellringer!

we're a fun bunch - glad you could join in!

I always enjoy the bell choirs at my parent's church.... know they have a bell choir at the church I keep meaning to go to on our side of the city... I seem to remember doing some hand bells in elementary school, and when I was in the church choir (like 7th or 8th grade) I think we did a song or two a year with bells. Which is good since I can't sing well at all, but I have a good sense of rhythm.
