News flash:

Car manufacturers announced they are tired of people whining about the price of gas, and cars will now be made to run on HP printer ink.

At 32 bucks for 42 milliliters, thats about 22 per ounce. $1408 a gallon. It will cost nearly $17,000 to fill up that Corolla now.

Dude, burning pure gold is where it's at. 20 times more expensive, and worth every penny. Well, or burning diamond. That would be a better cartel for the money.

"We have a Zink, it likes to drink.
What it likes to drink is ink.
The ink it likes to drink is pink.
So if you have a lot of ink,
I suggest you get a Zink."

W thanks to Dr Seuss.

Just to add insult to injury, a lot of printers don't empty their cartridges before telling you to replace them.

When I was a kid, See's Chocolates were the highest level of luxury I knew. They were running about $5.60 a lb at the time.

Then these little mints called Tic Tacs came on the market. My best friend and I got quite enamored of them, and I was frustrated my folks wouldnt include them with the groceries. My dad calculated the cost per pound and that put a permanent end to my fondness for the little things. At the time, they were $32/lb. For which I could have FIVE pounds of See's.
Talk about illuminating!
