There's a low due to bring in a Santa Ana by midnight tonight, there will be dryness and wind. Maybe up to 35 or 40 in the Cajon Pass and over Tejachapi.
It may hit a high of 80 by Sunday. This does not warrant a weather warning. This is wind surfing weather*.
I thought the CO was an aviator. I may have to recheck that - this silliness sounds more like a storekeeper.
*With a wet suit. It ain't Waikiki.

I dunno what it is about cubicle land and thermostat wars, but I too wear winterwear all year long, have two shawls and a blanket in a desk drawer...
***Lunchtime addition
Rechecked the forecast. Coronado should see some marine layer by tomorrow, it'll make it up to north county by Friday or Saturday night. Temecula should remain clear and dry through the weekend - there's a range of hills blocking the moisture into the local basin and there's typically a weather pattern break roughly parallelling S78, and Temecula/Murrietta/Lake Elsinore is in a separate climate. Immigrants from smaller states don't really seem to understand our attitude toward climate - we have several distinct climates in San Diego county alone. Anyway, jamie's Temecula oenophile visitation should be lovely, and I can deal with the fog. I have experience.**

Worcester MA got 11 inches of snow, so I'm assuming a big loss of power there. Again, we were far enough west to miss the storm coming up the coast. Beautiful sunny day yesterday even if it barely topped 50. Looks like we should avoid the rain for Halloween too. feel sorry for kids on the east coast - will folks do trick-or-treating by candlelight?
